A special Christmas charity tractor run will take place in Milford tomorrow evening in aid of the Little Angels school.
The event will leave at 5pm from the SR Auto and Agri Parts at the Milford Business and Retail Park, beside Lidl.
All proceeds from the run will go to the Little Angels Special School in Letterkenny.
The organisers are appealing to tractor owners to get into the Christmas spirit and add extra lights, Christmas trees, Santa hats and decorations to their machines.
“It will be starting at 5pm – it will be dark so make sure the tractor is well lit up,” a spokesperson for the organisers said.
Before the run, there will be coffee available in SR Auto and Agri Parts and at 5 they will depart, through Milford, Kerrykeel, Tamney, over the Mulroy Bridge into Carrigart and finishing at the Boardwalk for refreshments.
Some of the children from the Little Angels School will be at the start to enjoy the spectacle of the decorated tractors.
“It promises to be a lovely tractor run, around 40km along the Mulroy Bay with the Christmas lights in Milford, Kerrykeel and Carrigart to be seen. Also, Children are invited to bring their own pedal tractors and there will be a draw for a kids hamper. And don’t forget to light them up the best you can.”
