A local artist is currently turning a once-dreary pebble-dashed Twin Towns wall into a beautiful landscape.
Morgan Ferriter has been busy with his eye-catching work (main pic, above) on Chestnut Road in recent weeks, thanks to a commission by the Ballybofey and Stranorlar Chamber of Commerce.
A visual artist from the town, his paintings depict the landscape and scenes from life in the west and north west of Ireland.
He paints mainly in an Impressionist style, painting outdoors (plein air) when the weather permits, with oils as his preferred medium.
For the past few weeks he has been doing just that, on the sidewall of the famous Navenny Grill.
And the finished product is not too far away, he told Donegal Daily.
Since 2002, Morgan has exhibited throughout Ireland, and Canada.
He is also an art tutor, facilitating plein air painting sessions at different locations around the county, including at the Glebe Gallery, Church Hill and Ards Forest Park.
