The Mica Action Group (MAG) will bring 50 local schoolchildren to the Dáil next week in a bid to strengthen their fight for 100 per cent redress.
On Wednesday, primary and secondary school children from across Inishowen will walk to the seat of government to hand over letters directly to the ministers for children and education.
“These children are getting ignored and their voices are not being heard,” a MAG spokesperson said.
“The TV and media will be there to cover it. Caroline, Lisa and Amanda have been in touch with homeowners as we are trying to get a child and parent from every school represented.
“I have also called every single principal of every school to advise them and get their support.”
The spokesperson added that, already, enough interest has been generated to fill the two buses that have been booked.
