A young Donegal man is about to have an unforgettable evening as Ireland’s special guest at tonight’s match against Qatar.
Liam Mooney, from Malin, will be cheering Ireland on from pitchside at the Aviva for the friendly international.
He and his family joined Stephen Kenny and the squad for training yesterday evening.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity was made possible by the Make a Wish Foundation.
Liam is a popular underage coach and senior team statistician at Glengad United.
A lifelong football fan, he’s relishing every moment of this week in Dublin… and friends at home are hoping that he gives Kenny some of his football knowledge for a great result tonight!
