ON Saturday, adult learners from iADULT Day Service were awarded QQI Level1 in Horticulture and Food Choice and Health.
They were also awarded QQI level three in Computer Literacy.
This course was facilitated by Denis Kelly from Inishowen Development Partnership.
The certificates were presented by Virgin Media TV personality Ciara Doherty.
Manager of iADULT Liam Gill commented that adult education was more than just learning new skills or gaining a qualification, it was also about undertaking a process of personal development that could impact positively on professional and personal lives.
Liam commended the young adults on their certificates and their academic success, conveying that hard work pays off and they are capable of achieving their goals and aspirations.
He thanked the teaching staff from iADULT for their excellent work that they carry out and their personal commitment to supporting young adults with autism to succeed.
Liam thanked facilitators Denis Kelly (IDP), Michaela McLaughlin, Agnes Doherty and Anne Brogan. He also went on to thank Sarah Webster for the assistance with portfolios and Caroline McCabe Adult Literacy Organiser for Inishowen ETB.
