A number of Inishowen businesses have indicated they will close next Friday to facilitate staff and customers going to the mica March in Dublin.
Mica families have planned a second major protest in Dublin on October 8th if full redress is not promised.
Back in June, tens of thousands of affected homeowners marched in Dublin, gathering at the Convention Centre and making their way to Leinster House to demand 100 per cent redress.
The Tank & Skinnys cafe chain announced they will close their branches in Buncrana, Muff, Letterkenny and Limavady.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we, our family, friends, neighbours and staff have been affected by the devastation of mica. Our staff and ourselves are going to Dublin to march for equality, hope to see you there,” a statement on their Facebook page read.
A number of other businesses made similar announcements.
The protest will be starting at that Garden of Remembrance, Parnell Square, at 12 noon on Friday.

Meanwhile, there may not be a decision on a mica compensation scheme by the end of the month, a Fine Gael minister has said.
Peter Burke, a junior minister in the Department of Housing, told today’s The Week in Politics on RTE he could not say for certain whether mica-affected homeowners would have an answer from the government on a revised redress scheme by the end of October.
Earlier this week, a draft report, compiled by a working group set up by Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien, did not recommend 100% redress, as demanded by campaigners.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin, during a visit to Rosslare Port on Friday, told reporters a decision will be made in the coming weeks.
