The stunning Donegal Boardwalk Resort in Carrigart has sold for “above the guide price”, Donegal Daily can reveal.
The luxury holiday retreat with 27 modern holiday homes had a guide price of €3.8M.
The resort was put on the market earlier this year with a lot of interest in the sale.
The property sold within the past month with a perfectly placed source revealing the guide price was exceeded.
It is understood an Irish company bought the site but it is not understood the buyer is from Donegal.
Estate agents Bannon, who were handling the sale, declined to comment “at this juncture.”
The resort which was formerly known as Cuan Na Rí has been completely renovated and provide rental accommodation for groups, families or companies.
The 27 units are arranged across three cul-de-sacs and all are in turn-key condition, fully fitted and presented to a very high standard. Each villa includes a private deck/patio.
The resort includes a fully-licensed seafront bar, restaurant and function room and adjoins the 1km boardwalk to link to Tramore Beach.
Donegal Board Walk resort comes with a total of 45 acres, with much of that undeveloped at present.
