THE sports facility at Colaiste Cholmcille is set to be floodlit.
Planning permission for the erection of floodlighting and new perimeter fencing has been sought.
Permission for the proposed development is sought by Cora Fagan, the secretary of the schools board of management, on behalf of Coláiste Cholmcille.
The development would include 29 6-metre tall lighting poles and 130 metres of 1.80m high fencing and all associated site development works.
A decision is due from the local authority on November 18, 2021.
