The Lennon Lodge in Ramelton has a new owner.
The current proprietors, Seamus and Maureen Durkan, confirmed the sale in a message posted yesterday on their Facebook page.
“This is a message to announce that The Lennon Lodge is now sold,” they said.
“We will be having our final night here next Saturday the 25th September. We had Paul McCahill (Jazz) providing music on 5th December 1998 – Our opening night, so we consider it fitting that his son, Jasey, will entertain all our patrons on our closing night.”
The couple took the opportunity to express their gratitude for all the support everyone has given them over the past 23 years in Ramelton.
“All are welcome to join us for a final fling on Saturday,” they concluded.
