THE Department of Health says it has been notified of 1,185 new cases of Covid-19 today.
Health officials say there are 292 Covid-19 patients in Irish hospitals, with 65 of those in intensive care units.
There have been 5,179 deaths related to Covid-19 in Ireland since the outbreak began.
HSE figures show there are 19 Covid-19 patients in Letterkenny University Hospital.
One of those patients is in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
