A BENCH warrant has been issued for a Donegal man facing a series of charges.
Judge Sandra Murphy issued the warrant for Kyle McGrath (24), with an address at Meadowfield Manor, Newtowncunningham after he failed to appear at Letterkenny District Court.
A number of warrants are in existence for the accused, dating back to 2018.
McGrath is charged with driving without insurance and driving without a licence at Cockhill Road, Buncrana on June 5, 2021.
McGrath faces a charge of being intoxicated in a public place on December 19, 2019 at Stoneybridge, Bridgend.
McGrath also faces charges of driving without insurance and driving without a licence at Raymoghey on December 15, 2019.
The accused is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife similar to a Stanley, with a sliding blade which had a blade or was sharply pointed at Cashel Park, Letterkenny on October 6, 2019.
Solicitor Mr Donough Cleary told the court that he had no communication from McGrath.
Judge Murphy issued a warrant for McGrath’s arrest and put the matters back to the November 8 sitting of the court.
