Covid-19: 1,466 new cases, 311 people in hospital

THE Department of Health has confirmed 1,466 new cases of Covid-19 today.

Health officials say that there are 311 people in Irish hospitals being treated for Covid-19.

Of those, 58 are in intensive care units.

Latest figures show that there are 15 Covid-19 patients in Letterkenny University Hospital, where there were six new admissions over the past 24 hours.
