AMY Alexander presented the proceeds of the ‘Tour De Cross’ – a whopping €4,000 – to Drumboe Respite Centre.
Amy (19) took on a lockdown challenge last year, cycling 15km around her home area in Killygordon.
Amy cycled 1km a day (sometimes 2!) every day for two weeks.
Amy, who has Down syndrome, enjoys every moment spent at Drumboe Respite Centre.
She has been attending for day visits and overnight stays since she was young and loves meeting up with friends and the staff for outings and going for food, which is her all-time favourite activity.
This week, Amyfinally got to present the money she raised on the ‘Tour de Cross.
The final amount raised was €4017.
