Covid-19: 1,144 new cases, 384 in hospital

HEALTH officials have confirmed the detection of 1,144 new cases of Covid-19 today.

It comes as the Department of Health say there are now 384 patients in Irish hospitals receiving treatment for the coronavirus.

Of those, 59 are in intensive care settings.

The latest hospital figures show that there are 14 Covid-19 patients in Letterkenny University Hospital.
