A NEW tender for an airline to provide air services between Donegal and Dublin has been launched.
The Department of Transport is seeking a new airline to provide the State-aided service.
The Donegal-Dublin route is operated as a Public Services Obligation and was operated by Stobart Air until its collapse earlier this year.
A short-term contract sees Amapola operate a twice-a-day service.
A new contract, from the end of February 2022, is now being sought.
The new deal would see an early morning flight from Donegal, to depart before 8am, and a return flight to depart Dublin after 6.30pm.
