PUBLIC transport will be able to operate at full capacity from Wednesday.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, transport operators have been at limited capacity in a bid to curb the spread of the virus.
However, with schools and colleges back again, public transport will now be able to go to back to full capacity.
This was announced by the Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan said on Sunday.
The move will be confirmed at a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
Minister Ryan said: “We are unwinding restrictions stage by stage, bringing sectors back to life, and doing it in a way so it doesn’t reverse, so we’ll really maintain the approach that has worked.”
