FIVE cousins chalked in for their first days at five different primary schools in Donegal on the same day this week.
The five youngsters posed for a unique picture in their new school uniforms.
Their journeys into primary school all began on Thursday.
Nicola McLaughlin clocked in at Kilmacrennan National School, while a short journey away Patrick McLaughlin was heading through the doors of Scoil Cholmcille, Termon.
Dylan McLaughlin made for his first day at Woodlands National School while Aine McDaid started Glenswilly National School on the same morning.
At Faugher National School in Dunfanaghy, their cousin Anna-Jane Baird was among the school newcomers.
Another cousin, Katelyn Doherty, is set to begin her primary school journey at St Joseph’s School in Balclutha, New Zealand in the coming months.
They are all nieces and nephews of Donegal Ladies GAA star Geraldine McLaughlin.
