TUNDE Owolabi says he has found his belief at Finn Harps..
The well-traveled Belgian arrived at Harps after a short spell in Scotland with Hamilton.
He had made seven appearances in the Scottish Premier League before being snapped up by Harps. A hat-trick in Friday’s 3-1 win over St Patrick’s Athletic gave Harps a third Premier Division win on the spin.
“It’s been hard coming from not playing much and I’ve had to believe in myself again,” Owolabi said.
“I have to thank Ollie for bringing me in, believing in me, and my team mates. I’m enjoying myself.
“As a striker, you live on goals. Once you score, you get extra belief. I’m massively proud of myself and the team. We were very good and we deserved the three points.”
Harps moved to seventh in the table with the win, energised by Owolabi’s excellent hat-trick.
The 26-year-old said: “We’re playing well. We won three in a row before this game. We knew with the fans behind us that we could put in a good performance and get something from the game.
“We have some very good quality players. When things weren’t going well we had to keep working and keep believing. It’s hard when you’re losing, but in football things change and you just need a positive result.”
