RALLYING will return to Donegal for the first time since 2020 later this year, it has been confirmed.
The Donegal Harvest Rally will take place on October 3, the Donegal Motor Club has said.
Crews will tackle two stages which will be repeated three times. The event is sponsored by the Abbey Hotel and will be held in the Donegal Town area.
There will be ‘very short road sections’, organisers say, with stage mileage of around 90km.
The last rally held in Donegal was the Mini Stages Rally in January 2020, an event won by Ryan Loughran, who staved off the challenge of Damien Gallagher.
Loughran had Donegal man Gareth Doherty calling the notes in their Mk2 Escort.
