TEMPERATURES are set to rise above 20 degrees this week as Ireland gets set to enjoy another hot spell.
Met Eireann is predicting that temperatures could reach as high as 25 degrees this week.
After several days of unsettled weather, some summer seems set to return to the skies.
Met Eireann say that the national outlook is ‘settled with some sunshine and above normal temperatures’.
Into Tuesday, warm spells of sunshine are expected in the Ulster region, while long spells of sunshine are anticipated on a warm Wednesday.
The high temperatures are likely to continue towards the end of the week.
Early indications suggest that the settled spell will continue into the weekend, with mostly dry weather though there will be showers at times, with temperatures in the high teens or low twenties.
