#LoveDonegal Day 2021 kicks off online today.
The campaign aims to promote Donegal to the world and tell everyone why Donegal is a great place to live, work, study, explore and invest in.
Singer Daniel O’Donnell is one of the many celebrities spearheading the celebrations today.
Daniel, a tireless ambassador for Donegal, is encouraging his fans to visit the north west and see the beauty and warm hospitality for themselves.

From Bundoran to Malin Head, Daniel is promoting this many places to visit and sights to see.
“From the majestic Errigal mountain, Sliabh Liag cliffs, travelling down through Glencolmcille into Ardara and into the Rosses of course, across the Gweebarra, where you’ll find my part of the world, Dungloe, and down to Kincasslagh where I was born. Then on over to Annagry, Crolly and Meenaleck, where the famous Leo’s pub is, where Clannad and Enya were born.”
On #LoveDonegal Day, Daniel is praising the many Donegal names who brought great music to the world, from his sister Margo to Bridie Gallagher.
From the Atlantic Drive to Inishowen, Daniel says the number of places and establishment to visit is endless.
Daniel’s invitation to people to visit Donegal promises a warm welcome.
He said: “Without a shadow of a doubt, the thing you’ll remember the most is the warmth of the people and the welcome that you’ll receive.”
