ANOTHER suspected drug-driver was arrested in Donegal today after being caught speeding.
The motorist was caught driving at 138km/h in the early hours of this morning by the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit.
The driver subsequently failed the roadside test, testing positive for the presence of cannabis.
A Court appearance will follow and the driver will also receive a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice, Gardaí have confirmed.
This follows yesterday when two suspected drug-drivers were arrested after being detected speeding by the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Taking a risk on the roads can have devastating results. Please slow down and never ever even contemplate getting behind the wheel of any vehicle whilst under the influence of drugs/alcohol.”
