AN INISHOWEN man has pleaded guilty to spying on a naked young woman through a keyhole.
The man, who cannot be named in order to protect the identity of the victim, made the plea at Carndonagh District Court through his solicitor, Mr Frank Dorrian.
The man, who was not present in court, was charged with ‘offensive conduct of a sexual nature’ in March, 2018.
Mr Dorrian asked Judge Deirdre Gearty to adjourn sentencing to the September sitting of the same court.
Judge Gearty said she wanted to see a Victim Impact Statement on that date.
The defendant, who is in his forties, had his legal aid extended to include a Junior Barrister.
Mr Frank Dorrian, told an earlier hearing the case was “a very tricky, complicated and interesting” one.
