AS temperatures continue to soar, the public have been warned again about the dangers of swimming in ESB reservoirs.
The ESB has issued a plea, reminding members of the public that its reservoirs are not suitable for swimming.
The waters included are the head race and tailrace canal at Assaroe, Ballyshannon as well as Loug Nacung and Lough Dunlewey, both in the shadows of Errigal.
“These areas are not appropriate for swimming because of the risk of deep and fast-flowing waters, changing water levels and uneven ground,” a statement said.
