RONAN Boyce scored his fifth goal of the season last night, but Derry City let a 2-0 lead slip against Shamrock Rovers.
Ramelton man Boyce steered home a 24th minute opener for City.
Boyce has been in fine form this season since making a place in the Candystripes’ team his own.
Junior netted a penalty six minutes later to make it 2-0.
However, Graham Burke pulled one back before half-time before second-half strikes by Ronan Finn, Rory Gaffney and Richie Towell gave Rovers a 4-2 win.
