ALONE charity seeks ‘befriending’ volunteers in east Donegal

The ALONE Donegal charity for older peole is seeking ‘befriending’ volunteers in the east of the county.

ALONE strives to enable older people to age at home, safely and securely, for as long as they wish.

Their Visitation Support & Befriending Service matches older people who would like additional social contact with volunteers who provide companionship through a weekly visit. 

The charity currently has older people in Killygordon, and surrounding areas, looking for this service and are seeking to recruit volunteers.
