Announcement due next week on Donegal Airport flights

An announcement is expected next week about a new provider for flights between Donegal Airport and Dublin.

Fine Gael TD, Joe McHugh, posted on Twitter this morning that: “the tender process is being worked through and an announcement is expected next week.”

Last month, all Aer Lingus regional flights operated by Stobart Air were cancelled with immediate effect after Stobart announced it had ceased operations.

The meant that all, Aer Lingus operated, Dublin flights to and from Donegal Airport remain grounded.
