More speeding drivers detected today in Inishowen

The Buncrana Roads Policing Unit are out in force across Inishowen today and have detected a number of speeding drivers.

One was clocked travelling at 145 kph and the other at 140kph. Fines have been issued to both drivers.

A garda spokesperson said: “Please slow down. It will not kill you if you are late for work. It won’t be the end of the world if you are late for that appointment. Your friend will understand if you are a few minutes late showing up for that cup of coffee. It certainly is better to be late than to not reach your destination at all. Please do not ever risk your life or the lives of others by speeding.”
