She recently celebrated her 100th birthday but Sister Philomena shows no sign of slowing down.
Gardaí from Buncrana Garda Station recently paid a recent visit to Sister Philomena who celebrated the milestone birthday at Nazareth House in Fahan.
Sister Philomena then sent a beautiful thank you card (as Gaelige) to Superintendent Sheridan.
Supt Sheridan was delighted to receive the card & replied to Sister Philomena congratulating her on her milestone birthday and wishing her health and happiness for many more to come.
A Garda spokesperson said “We, at Garda Síochána Donegal also congratulate Sister Philomena and we wish her all the very best in the future.”
