Update 8.35pm: The main Letterkenny-Ramelton road has reopened after an earlier road traffic accident.
The road was closed following a two-car collision close to the Silver Tassie Hotel.
Local diversions were in place. Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene.
One person is believed to have been removed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road has now reopened and investigations are ongoing, Gardaí say.
