Donegal County Council has been urged to take action to prevent cars catching on a high kerb in Letterkenny.
The planter wall at the junction from Larkin’s Lane to Pearse Road has been an issue for motorists turning left, according to Letterkenny Mayor Cllr Donal Coyle.

Cllr Coyle told this week’s Letterkenny-Milford MD that several cars have been damaged on the kerb. He asked the council to come up with a solution, such as stripes, to make it more visible.
The local roads department responded to say that the wall has been assessed before and is in compliance with the required standards, but visibility will be looked at to highlight it further.
