A DONEGAL national school is to get a new classroom.
Plans have been submitted for works at the 84-pupil Naomh Colmcille NS in Drumoghill.
Fr Martin Cunningham, on behalf of the school’s board of management, has lodged planning permission.
The proposed development would see the demolition and removal of an existing single-storey portacabin classroom.
Naomh Colmcille NS, under the proposed development, is to get a new standalone pitched roof classroom to the rear of the existing school building.
The development also provides for the construction of a single-storey flat roof set room and a flat roof glazed lobby at the front entrance.
A new staff car park with a mew access junction and associated site works are also included.
Donegal County Council say a decision is due on June 28.
