Another flock of sheep has been seized from a field in Donegal.
Twenty-five sheep, believed to have been stolen, were recovered yesterday in the Milford district.
It is the second seizure of its kind in the area in the past week, after 28 ewes and lambs were recovered near Ramelton on Monday.
Gardaí say they are conducting investigations into irregularities and traceability within sheep flocks.
Thursday’s multi agency operation included the ISPCA and the Department of Agriculture Special Investigation Unit.
A spokesperson said: “If you have any information regarding irregularities and/or traceability within livestock flocks/herds please contact your local Garda Station or call the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
