THERE are plans to construct a new apartment block with 32 apartments in Letterkenny.

Planning permission has been sought for the development at Carnamuggagh Lower, Letterkenny.

The applicant, Brian Brogan, has sought permission for the construction of a 32-apartment block and two communal roof terraces.

The proposed development is also to to include a two-storey car park, bicycle parking and bin storage compounds.

The proposal also provides for a toddlers play area, a kick about area and landscaped amenity areas.

Donegal County Council say that a decision is due on June 9.

There have also been plans lodged recently for the construction of apartment blocks comprising a total of 21 apartments at Windyhall Road. Those plans, in the name of McHugh Bros (Builders) Ltd would see the construction of 21 residential units over five blocks.
