A RURAL primary school in Donegal is set to get a new extension.
Planning permission has been sought for the development works at Scoil Náisuinta Taobhóige in Cloghan.
The proposed development consists of a new extension to include an assembly hall, staff room and toilets.
A new car parking area is also to be provided.
The application was made by Fr Lorcán Ó Searcaigh, the Chairperson of the school’s Board of Management.
Planning permission was lodged on April 15 and Donegal County Council say a decision will be made on June 9.
