Job Vacancies: Sweeney’s Homevalue require a General Retail Manager and a Shop Salesperson to work as a part of our dynamic team.

General Retail Manager
Sweeney’s Homevalue is a family run retail business. Our customer base consists of local building contractors , plumbers, farmers and DIY enthusiasts. At present we require a General Manager to manage both our stores which are located in Lettermacaward and Derrybeg, Co Donegal.
The applicant must have the following credentials and be responsible for:
• Management experience in retail sector with a background in construction supplies preferably but not essential.
• Overseeing the daily operations of both shops
• Work well under pressure and to meet targets and goals.
• Improve the sales performance of both stores.
• Improve the working efficiencies of both shops.
• Have good interpersonal and social skills
• Be disciplined, focused and be well organised and have the ability to lead a team in a shop environment.

Salesperson – Derrybeg Store
The ideal person for this position shall be energetic, enthusiastic and have excellent social skills. A background in construction is preferable but not essential.
Role Requirements:
• Working as a part of a team within a shop retail environment
• Assisting with shop deliveries
• Attending to customer requirements
• Checking incoming deliveries from suppliers
• Stocking shelves
• Assisting in stock control management
• Liaising with shop suppliers
• Attending staff meetings
• Working flexible hours
