DONEGAL duo Roma McLaughlin and Zoe McGlynn picked up top awards before helping Central Connecticut State University to win the Northeast Conference Championship.
A 4-0 win over Long Island secured a third consecutive title for the Blue Devils.
Greencastle woman McLaughlin was named as the Championship’s most valuable player and bagged her fourth goal of the season in the win.
Raphoe’s McGlynn, credited with the assist for McLaughlin’s goal, was also named in the First Team All-NEC selection.
“It’s been a short season, but we’re just glad to get some games in,” McLaughlin said.
“Three-in-a-row is amazing. It’s been a long, long year. We worked hard even when we weren’t sure if we had a season coming up.”
