ANOTHER 33 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Donegal this evening.
Health officials announced 11 further Covid-19 related deaths and 420 new cases.
Of those, 33 were in Donegal, where there have been 303 new infections in the last 14 days. With an incidence rate of 190.3, Donegal is behind only Offaly (211.6) and Kildare (196.9) as among the country’s highest.
There have now been 4,831 Covid-19 related deaths and 242,819 cases since the outbreak.
Of the cases notified today: 218 are men / 197 are women; 74 per cent are under 45 years of age; the median age is 32 years old.
