T-shirts and shorts may have been the order of the day cross Donegal over the past couple of days.
But the Easter Bank Holiday weekend weather is set to take a turn for the worst from tonight.
And the bad news is that unsettled and cold weather is to remain all week.
Met Eireann has forecast not only a dip in temperatures but even showers of hail and sleet!
Temperatures are set to plunge to as low as zero degrees while the forecaster says Bank Holiday Monday will feel both breezy and cold.
There is a strong chance of showers of hail and sleet at lower levels with some snow being forecast for higher ground.

Rain will develop early in the night with fresh to strong northwest winds. Rain will clear overnight to colder and clearer weather as winds moderate. Lowest temperatures of 0 to +3 degrees.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow will be breezy and feel cold. There will be passing light showers of rain or sleet, possibly snow on high ground, but there will be good dry and bright spells also. Highest temperatures of 8 or 9 degrees with added wind chill from a fresh northerly wind.
