There have been 38 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in County Donegal today, third only to Dublin.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has been informed of a total of 624 cases nationally, as well as two Covid-related deaths.
The 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 population in Donegal is now 262.6, the second highest in Ireland after County Offaly. The five-day moving average for here is 42.
Of today’s cases, 308 were in Dublin, 41 in Kildare, 38 in Donegal, 31 in Meath, 29 in Offaly and the remaining 177 cases are spread across 18 other counties.
As of 8am today, 304 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 64 are in ICU. There were 21 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
