Carrick residents were out in force yesterday to carry out a huge spring clean in the area.
The community effort was supported by teams of volunteers who each covered a designated area so social distancing could be observed. Families and those in “bubbles” helped out.
A huge number of bags was collected by the end of the day, leaving the village and roadsides looking spic and span for spring.
