Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for all of Ireland tomorrow, including Donegal.
The Irish meteorological service said it will become very windy from Wednesday afternoon through until Thursday morning.
“Southwest winds, veering westerly, will gust 90 to 110km/h generally, higher at times on hills and coasts in the south and west with a risk of some wave overtopping,” the forecaster said.
The warning is valid from 12:00 noon tomorrow until 7am on Thursday morning.
Met Éireann also said the very wet conditions, with prolonged outbreaks of rain, can be expected until the weekend, at least.
