PEOPLE who have underlying health conditions will be moved up on the Covid-19 vaccine list.
The Government is said to be working on a plan that will see these people get a higher priority.
Over 370,000 people, between the ages of 18 and 64, were at number seven in the first allocation list.
The Irish Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, has received advice from the National Immunisation Advisory Committee and this will be discussed by the Cabinet this week.
There are now indications that those with underlying issues will be listed as the next priority after the over 70s have been vaccinated.
The list will not include all conditions and the criteria for moving up will be based on clinical advice.
