Finn Harps have just announced that they have been awarded a Premier Division licence from the FAI for this coming season.
This means that the Harps have been given a disposition to continue to use their traditional Navenny Street home for another year.
“The club are delighted to announce we have been awarded a Premier Division licence for 2021 by the FAI,” said a statement posted within the last hour.
“A huge thanks to the club’s Licensing Officer, Shane Elliot, for all his hard work over the past few months.”
If, and when, Harps move to their planned new stadium across the river in Stranorlar, they will have to continue to apply each year for a dispensation to use Finn Park.
Finn Harp’s first game of the new season will be at home to Bohemians on March 19.
The Dublin outfit came runners-up to champions Shamrock Rovers in last year’s title race.
