Gardai are investigating a serious assault that took place at a premises in Ramelton last weekend.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening at Castle Street, resulting in one man being taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where he was treated for head injuries.
It is believed the assault took place following a dispute between two men.
A spokesperson for the Garda Press Office confirmed Gardaí attended the scene of an incident at a premises in the town.
“A man in his 30s suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Letterkenny Hospital. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing,” the spokesperson said.
