THE NUMBER of Covid-19 patients at Letterkenny University Hospital has fallen by almost 50 per cent in 24 hours.
The latest HSE figures show that there are now 31 patients at LUH being treated for Covid-19.
The number was measured at 8pm on Friday and represents a drop of 49.1 per cent from 61 at the same time 24 hours earlier.
LUH remains at its critical care capacity with five of those patients remaining in intensive care.
Across the country, there are now 943 Covid-19 patients receiving hospital care.
