ANOTHER nine Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in Northern Ireland this afternoon.
Health officials have announced a further 407 new cases of the coronavirus.
Thirty-six of today’s cases are in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area.
Today’s figures come as the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency released their latest Covid stats which show that the region’s death toll has passed 2,614.
The figures have also revealed that there were 125 more deaths in the week ending February 5 than the five-year average.
