THERE was an increase in the number of Covid-19 patients being treated at Letterkenny University Hospital last night.
Figures released by the HSE show that, as of 8pm on Wednesday, there were 62 patients receiving treatment for Covid-19 at LUH.
The number is up from 59 at the same time on Tuesday evening.
Three Covid-19 patients are undergoing critical care treatment and there are also three suspected cases of then coronavirus at the hospital;.
Figures show that there are nine general and one critical care bed available.
