THE NUMBER of Covid-19 patients in Letterkenny University Hospital has fallen to 60.
The latest figures released by the HSE, measured at 8pm on Monday, show that there are now 60 patients in LUH being treated for Covid-19.
That number is down from 68 at the same time on Sunday evening.
There had been a small rise in the number of the weekend, but that has decreased to 60.
While the figure is decreasing, the hospital remains at critical care capacity. Five patients at LUH who have Covid-19 are undergoing critical care treatment.
