THERE has been a further fall in the number of patents at Letterkenny University Hospital receiving treatment for Covid-19.
Latest figures from the HSE show that there are now 75 patients at LUH with the coronavirus.
It is a fall of eight from yesterday’s number.
However, the hospital remains under serious strain. There are no critical care beds available with six Covid-19 patients receiving intensive care treatment.
There is also one suspected Covid-19 case in a critical care unit at LUH.
